The RSS1-ASI is an automatic switch with two independent outputs. It is designed to provide redundancy to two TV channels in DVB-ASI format received at Broadcast transmission sites and CATV Headend/Hub sites. It designed to independently monitor the main & backup input feeds for automatic switchover to the backup input when the main input drops below its threshold setting and with alarming capabilities over IP-networks. The switch automatically returns to the main input on signal restoration, with a built-in Hysteresis.

The RSS2-ASI station incorporates (2) Automatic A/B switches to monitor independently digital Video feeds in DVB-ASI or SDI format, with automatic switchover to their respective backup feeds.  The threshold level at which the unit switches to the backup feed can be separately adjusted for each input and automatic switch module in the chassis.  

The RSS6-ASI station incorporates (6) Automatic A/B switches to monitor independently digital Video feeds in DVB-ASI or SDI format, with automatic switchover to their respective backup feeds. The threshold level at which the unit switches to the backup feed can be separately adjusted for each input and automatic switch module in the chassis.
